Arduino
5 Axis
Easy to build
The choice of the controller is in the hands of those who build it, this allows the use of multiple control and management systems of the robot, so as to be able to discover new systems and solutions for working with the motors that compose it.
The best known controller is Arduino, and on this platform you can find a first useful example to operate an axis!
The robot consists of 5 axes, 3 of which are driven by stepper motors and 2 with servomotors.
This feature allows the robot to have multiple freedom of movement, limited by the size of the robot alone.
The construction of the robot, once all the parts that compose it have been printed, is really fast, it will not take more than 35 minutes for assembly, and a few more minutes to connect all the electrical devices.
The easy construction also allows easier maintenance in case of damage or failure of the components!

From here you can consult and DOWNLOAD the documentation you are interested in, such as STL files for printing, MANUALS and examples of WIRING and SOFTWARE.
Electrical
Click on the icon! You can download the documentation useful for carrying out the electrical project, through images and diagrams complete with descriptions, details and much more! It is advisable to pay close attention to what is described if you want to replicate the project as indicated in the diagrams, but it is not obligatory to follow the example, and you can modify and change the designs as you prefer, according to your needs and interests.
Manual & STL
Click on the icon and download the manual and the STL files! The manual is very detailed and complete with images and descriptions that will help you step by step to build your project. You will also find the list of components to be printed, components that you can download in STL format, ready to be printed. Also pay attention to the information regarding the printing properties, so that you can print the parts in the most correct way.
Software
Click on the icon and download the source files of the software useful to carry out the first movements! The software is developed in C ++, for Arduino, modifiable with the appropriate Arduino IDE. The software you can download is fully commented, and can be adapted to your needs. The software management of the robot is completely free, it is not obligatory to use an Arduino board, but any control system is allowed!
Our platform relies on the generosity of donors to ensure uninterrupted access to projects. Your contributions play a vital role in covering operational costs, such as hosting and maintenance, and drive the development of future initiatives. By supporting us, you're not only helping to sustain our current offerings but also enabling us to expand our reach and impact. Together, we can continue to foster an environment of creativity and innovation, making knowledge accessible to all. Join us in our mission and be a part of something truly transformative!
COLOR YOUR
KAUDA
Click on the image, you will be able to download the assembly useful to be able to make a first impression of the dimensions, characteristics and shape.
But above all you will have the possibility, by opening the file in the design environment you use, to assign the colors to the various components, even before printing, so you can understand which outfit will best suit your robot.
If you don't have a 3D design or modeling software don't worry, you will find many 3D model viewers online, which will give you the possibility to assign colors to the parts that make up the project as well.
OPTIONALS
Gripper
OMEGA
The Omega gripper is a better performing tool than the original Kauda robot gripper.
The gripper is moved by an SG90 motor, a small servomotor that can be easily connected to the Arduino board, in fact there will be no need for explanations regarding the electrical wiring.
This system allows for faster movements than the use of a traditional DC motor, and above all the exact control of the gripper position, in fact, being a servomotor, it is possible to manage the exact degrees of opening.
To download the installation manual and the files useful for printing, I invite you to click on the appropriate download icons.

More Performing
The Omega gripper is characterized by the original because of the movement system, this model is in fact operated by a SG90 servo motor, which allows rotation from 0 ° to 180 ° at an adjustable speed, thus allowing greater performance.
In addition to this, the electrical connection on the Arduino board and the subsequent management and control are much simpler.
Manual & STL

COLLECTOR
BASE
The base is a convenient option to make the cable and component arrangement system more compact, in fact, the objective of the optional is to collect the Arduino board and the CNC Shield V3 (whose electrical connection can be found at inside the electrical diagrams of the kauda robot) in an orderly manner, inside the base itself.
This system will allow you to avoid getting too many cables out of the dear holes of the robot, and with the right order to enclose everything inside the base.

Optimized spaces
The realization of this optional for the KAUDA robot will be very useful and efficient, to make the components more compact and place it in the robot itself!
The project is designed to house the Arduino board and the CNC Shield V3, there are no additional supports to fix other components.
